Cole Smith is Senior Portfolio Manager for Public Equities at the Arizona State Retirement System.  In his role, he supervises the Public Equity Desk at ASRS and is responsible for managing enhanced index equity portfolios.  In addition to portfolio management, Cole also provides oversight of order management and trade execution across listed and non-listed products.  As a senior member of the investment team, Cole helps craft strategy and direction for his asset class, and is responsible for providing updates to the Board and other stakeholders both internally and externally.

He holds an MBA from Arizona State University, as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
