July 8, 2026 - via Politico Pro - In a story about putting Democrats on the SEC and CFTC organizations, Healthy Markets President & CEO Tyler Gellasch is quoted saying “It’s a totally different job than it’s ever been in any of our lifetimes, and Democrats are trying to wrestle with that right now,” said Tyler Gellasch, a former SEC official who now leads the institutional investor advocacy group Healthy Markets Association. “ I don’t think there’s a plausible way forward for a truly bipartisan [commission] any time soon. We need to dispense with the pretense of these commissions being balanced, bipartisan regulatory experts at the top and acknowledge that they’re purely political appointees.” (Full Story).
