Republicans plan legal assault on climate disclosure rules for public companies

The Guardian – In a story about the SEC’s proposed new rules, which would require public corporations to disclose climate-related information, Healthy Markets President and CEO Tyler Gellasch is quoted saying “Historical legal precedent suggests that the SEC has a pretty strong case. But if you’re the Business Roundtable, you don’t necessarily need historical legal precedent on your side. You just need a court today. And that seems far more likely today than it would have been at any time in modern history.” (Full Story).
