US Funds Call for Rule Change in Response to MiFID II

Financial Times – In a joint letter filed by the Council of Institutional Investors, the CFA Institute and the Healthy Markets Association, Tyler Gellasch, Executive Director of Healthy Markets Assocation is quoted saying that “The European rules have added risks and costs for US investors, and it’s past time for the SEC to step in.”  Mr. Gellasch also stated that “Fair and efficient markets depend on transparency and the market for investment research in the United States falls far short.” (Full Story).
